This year’s event set to be held in April promises just as much fun and excitement, if not more. The festival offers an endless array of food and drinks some of which have been featured on the Food Network, Cooking Channel, and Travel Channel. Overall the environment was fun there was a lot of good people watching to be had but overall the food to us was a disappointment. The Las Vegas Foodie Festival is an exhibition unlike any other where foodies from across the country gather to sample some of the nation’s best cuisine. And listening to some of the folks that were there and while they were waiting in line a lot of them track these high-profile food trucks from either food shows or online so I don't know that anybody really had any idea where the food was good or not and if they had any taste such as my wife and myself they know that it was just average. Overall the food was average or below and the long wait in line it did not mean that the food was worth waiting for. Using our best judgment and through experience in the past we stood in some of the very long lines ranging from barbecue to Maine lobster and even a sushi burrito. As we meandered through the multiple lines of food trucks and food stands we noticed that some trucks had absolutely no phone lines with very long lines and some had no people at them at all. We were greeted with a very long line at the entrance so this increased our hopes of a great experience. So my wife and I had high expectations for the foodie Fest as we missed it last year.
